During Dove week we got to spend lots of time with a bunch of Greg's artists. The best conversation though, was with Todd Agnew who, since his "Grace" album, I haven't really listened to. Greg loves his stuff since that album, but I always felt that it was bitter and not very encouraging to the church. Todd has recently been married, gained children through that marriage, and has moved to Austin, TX, and in the midst of all that, I feel he's come back to the truth in worship. He said he's finally found happiness, and it really showed through our conversation. He is smiling a lot more, really excited about his church and feels like God is leading him to make a worship album again, FOR the church. I can't wait for it to come out! I feel like he's become the Todd that I had first listened to and admired in songwriting and worshipful music. I hope that those of you who like his stuff can truly enjoy his new stuff that he's written for us as a body of worshippers. Congrats Todd, on coming back around and really knowing what happiness God can bring you! And many blessings to all of you who buy his new album!
