I decided that Cali looked SOOOOOO cute in her little flipflop outfit and her pigtails (that we FINALLY can wear), so we had a modeling session on our stairs.  Here are the pics from that day. I have to admit... my baby is gorgeous!  What do you think?

Cali's New Swingset

Gramma, Poppa, and Uncle David Moore got Cali her first swingset for her birthday. Here are some pictures of her enjoying it, along with Daddy, who was handy enough to put it all together. Daddy ROCKS... and I think we could say the same about SWINGING!

Summer Vacation in Florida!

 We had a blast with Greg's family in Florida.  We were able to get out and have some fun, and spend some good quality time with family.  Greg and I had some good times, but I think Cali enjoyed it the most!!!  Cali especially loved being with gramma and poppa.

Cali and the Watermelon...

Thanks to my good friend Sharon, I have now learned a cool new way to display pictures! I have to admit, she is definitely my idol when it comes to creativity and I also have to admit that I copy her ideas whenever I can. :-) I decided to try it out today and here is my final result of playing with Powerpoint on the mac. Talking with Todd

During Dove week we got to spend lots of time with a bunch of Greg's artists.  The best conversation though, was with Todd Agnew who, since his "Grace" album, I haven't really listened to.  Greg loves his stuff since that album, but I always felt that it was bitter and not very encouraging to the church.  Todd has recently been married, gained children through that marriage, and has moved to Austin, TX, and in the midst of all that, I feel he's come back to the truth in worship.  He said he's finally found happiness, and it really showed through our conversation.  He is smiling a lot more, really excited about his church and feels like God is leading him to make a worship album again, FOR the church. I can't wait for it to come out!  I feel like he's become the Todd that I had first listened to and admired in songwriting and worshipful music.  I hope that those of you who like his stuff can truly enjoy his new stuff that he's written for us as a body of worshippers.  Congrats Todd, on coming back around and really knowing what happiness God can bring you! And many blessings to all of you who buy his new album!  

Cali vs. Amoxicillin

Since this blog is "more" about the Moore's, I thought I'd show you Cali's reaction to the Amoxicillin that she took a few weeks ago.

I've never wanted to help my daughter more than I did that week when she was all splotchy and puffy.  Believe me... it looks worse than she felt though, which was nice.

And they say she didn't have an "allergic reaction"... hmmm... wonder what THAT would look like.

New to Blogging!

I can't believe that I am up THIS LATE!  It is almost 1am and I'm having so much fun setting up this blog.  Greg is in bed and Cali is asleep, so I feel like I have a little time to myself.  Weird how, when you have a baby, the "time to yourself" comes at 1 in the morning.  But it is SO WORTH IT!  Cali reminds me so much of God's provision and love as I watch her grow and change daily.  What joy she brings to my life.  I can only hope that Greg and I can bring that much joy to hers.  May you be blessed by her smile as much as we are!  Off to bed I go...
